  14. I had the same issue to deal with.  You need to download a program called 
  15. WINRPI from www.rockwell.com and install it on your system.  This will 
  16. allow your 14.4 modem to take advantage of compression.  Rockwell also 
  17. has an excellent FAQ section that you'll want to print out as it is 
  18. INVALUABLE to reference.  It took me a couple of weeks to get it right, 
  19. but once you get everything to work you'll notice a substantial 
  20. diffference in spped in your modem.  Or...go buy a 28.8 with true v.34 
  21. and you won't need RPI.  Have fun and let me know how you do.
